Los Angeles, CA. – Jacob Giaimo has been busy doing something he’s never done before. He has created an intensely fun, inside look at his world with his new video, “Creature of Habit” dropping October 16, 2025. The singer-songwriter from Orlando, FL. currently residing in Los Angeles, CA., shows you a day in the life or rather every day in the life of Jacob Giaimo.
Jacob says, “Creature of Habit”, is just all about my love for doing things in repetition. The things I can control, I like to control so I can create order out of chaos. The song is special to me because it represents an evolution of being honest with myself and in my music.”
The “Creature of Habit” video, shot in Santa Monica, CA., was a unique, fun, creative, and collaborative experience for Jacob. It was also about making the song fit into the video, while expressing the essence and meaning of the track.
While Jacob has been performing on stage for years, he has definitely experienced some changes over this time. “There are a couple of main differences in my performances from when I started until now. Firstly, I’m definitely more comfortable. I was never truly uncomfortable, but with experience comes confidence. The second is that I started performing mostly covers because I didn’t have enough original music. Now I have enough originals to make a full set.”
Jacob is continually working on his craft, but like many other songwriters may sometimes experience writer’s block. “It happens but I’ve learned that it primarily stems from me not writing enough. I have to be consistent to avoid it. I just have to accept that I may write a couple bad songs before I get back in the flow and then the better ones start coming again.”
The creativity constantly flows as Jacob has other song’s he’ll be recording that will make up a new EP or album at some point. “I’m excited to share them. I’ll also be playing more gigs in the SoCal area. I hope to see you there!”
