David Torrance, otherwise known as my favourite Scotsman, is no stranger to Fanbase Music Magazine.
Hot on the heels of his last track, “Now That You’re Gone,” Crazy takes David Torrance and his quality music to a whole new level. I have always loved his songwriting, and this song is perfect. And it seems with every release, he just gets better and better.
The song starts with a nice piano kind of keyboard sound, then all the rest of the instruments come in. David’s Voice sounds amazing on this single. I would describe this song as easy listening and easy on the ear, making this song perfect for radio airplay around the world. I do think Crazy has the potential to do well on both online and commercial radio stations.
The song in my mind is about being in love and shooting your shot about making a move on a partner you’re crazy about. I think we have all been in that situation, where we are just so taken aback by someone that we just can’t seem to get them out of our minds. When I ponder on that subject a bit more, I wonder how many guys have been too scared to let someone know they like them, perhaps they are too shy, maybe they feel they are not good enough. But one thing David Torrance has on his side is that he can write a song about, I’m sure, if the person he is singing about were to hear this song with its lyrics, she would be impressed.
I can picture myself listening to this track when I fell in love with a girl, but don’t quite know how to tell her how I feel. I might dedicate this song to her on the radio and tell her to go listen, and it might just do the trick to win her over.
I would like to congratulate David’s band on this track; all the instruments are played very well, and like I said earlier, really make this song not only easy listening but also a feel-good track.
I would also like to point out that the production and recording of this track is top notch, something I have noticed with all of David’s releases; it is always produced well, and the quality is mint.
Big Congrats go out to David Torrance and his team for once again a great new track. I look forward to receiving new music soon, and I have a sneaky suspicion it will be equally great.
