DYLAN TORI – ‘LOVERS OF THE DARK’ NEW SINGLE

Dylan Tori Unveils ‘Lovers of the Dark’ – A Bold, Romantic Journey Full of Soul, Melody and Longing (Produced by Mark Beling)

Singer‑songwriter Dylan Tori has unleashed his electrifying new single ‘Lovers of the Dark’,
accompanied by a cinematic music video that brings his bold, genre‑blending vision vividly to
life. Renowned for his distinctive voice and raw, emotive storytelling, Dylan dives deep into the
tug‑of‑war between comfort and chaos in this powerful new chapter of his solo journey. With
soaring vocals, a gritty edge and visual flair to match, ‘Lovers of the Dark’ marks his most
daring and dynamic release yet.

Drawing on elements of modern country, alternative rock, and even bluegrass, ‘Lovers of the
Dark’ is built around the mythic passion of Bonnie and Clyde – not for their deeds, but for the
raw, rebellious devotion they shared. “I wanted to capture that tension between security and
desire,” explains Dylan. “The music video amplifies this with stark desert landscapes, shadowy
riders and a narrative that feels both timeless and urgent.”

Reflecting on the song’s inspiration, Dylan comments: “I wrote ‘Lovers of the Dark’ as a
romantic outlaw anthem – a love song with a shadowy edge, weaving together country, rock,
bluegrass and indie‑pop. At its core, it’s about the need to escape, whether from a stagnant
relationship or the monotony of everyday life, and the heady fantasy of running off in search of
adventure, freedom and dangerous love.

“The image that ignited the song was Bonnie and Clyde – not their crimes, but the fiery
connection they shared. That raw, all‑or‑nothing devotion, wild and unshackled. My
grandmother once told me that, in her late forties, settled and married, she used to fantasise
about having an affair and riding off naked on horseback with a cowboy. Of course, she never
did – she remained devoted to my grandfather until the end – but I believe many of us harbour
that same quiet longing… for freedom, for risk, for something that feels truly alive!”

In ‘Lovers of the Dark’, Dylan keeps the arrangement simple and singable, letting the narrative
drive the track so it’s felt as much as it’s heard. This is more than a single – it’s a cinematic
journey into the heart of rebellion and romance.
