find-joy release new single Journal (Acoustic Version)
find-joy are an alt-pop band from North County Dublin. The group are releasing an acoustic version of their single “Journal”, the last single from their 2024 debut EP “There’s a Brighter Side to Life Than This” on August 22nd, 2025.
Known for their engaging and energetic live shows, they’ve performed at Whelan’s Ones to Watch 2025, Golden Plec and John Barker’s TiLT #13 at the Button Factory, and in the main room at Whelan’s. Their headline gigs, which sold out at The Workman’s Cellar and twice Upstairs at Whelan’s, have solidified their place in Dublin’s music scene. They’ve also supported notable acts like Tebi Rex, Bold Love and Post-Party, gaining a reputation for their well-versed and dynamic live performances.
While taking time to record new material, the group came across an early acoustic version of “Journal”, the last single off their debut EP “There’s a Brighter Side to Life Than This”. They reworked it, and it is out on August 22nd. Journal is a song about escapism in modern dating, not wanting to get too close to people whilst also wanting the attention and stability of a stable relationship.
