Together We Rise, Together We Make a Difference
RADA closes 2025 with a year defined by resilience, purpose and meaningful action. South Africans continue to face a tough operating environment, yet the spirit of generosity and community upliftment remains strong.
Throughout the year, RADA focused on supporting vulnerable communities with consistency and care. The organisation adopted two new centres, increasing its reach to 39 active projects across five provinces. Monthly deliveries of food, clothing, bedding, educational materials and essential supplies continued without interruption. With the support of committed sponsors and RADA Angels, the team distributed 5,748,577 meals to families facing hardship. The RADA MiPad programme empowered a further 5,314 young girls with sustainable sanitary wear, helping them attend school with dignity and confidence.
RADA also strengthened its community support efforts through the RADA Tough Times Project, working with partners to assist families and centres facing hardship. These initiatives reinforced long-standing relationships, extended help where it was most needed and ensured that care remained consistent in a year marked by ongoing challenges.
Several initiatives brought additional momentum to RADA’s impact in 2025.
RADA Blues, a seven-member brass ensemble, celebrated their debut performance in September before a full theatre audience. Their routines bring bursts of energy, creating moments of joy and connection at events of every kind. Their music sparks conversation, uplifts audiences and strengthens RADA’s vision of positivity in motion.
The annual “You Must Be Kidding Me??” comedy event delivered two nights of next-level success filling Montecasino’s Teatro Theatre, while the RADA Golf Day drew committed supporters to a spirited day on the course. Both events continued to raise essential funding for the RADA MiPad initiative, ensuring continued support for schoolgirls across South Africa.
The RADA Youth Project joined forces with Parktown Boys High School to establish a dedicated Youth Team committed to local problem solving. The boys carried out weekly clean-ups of the Zoo Lake area, improving safety, uplifting public spaces and demonstrating the power of youth-driven community action.
RADA Unearthed continued to champion the musical arts with the release of its third volume, featuring new tracks from emerging and established artists. The project offers musicians a platform to grow, collaborate and inspire through music that shares meaningful messages.
RADA strengthened its commitment to child safety through the RASI project, an interactive initiative that teaches young learners how to cross roads safely. RASI has now reached 1,329,846 learners in 3,024 schools across 17 regions, giving children essential road safety skills that protect lives and build safer communities.
As 2025 draws to a close, the message is clear. Kindness creates change. Small acts carried out consistently can shift lives in ways that matter. This season offers a chance to rest, breathe and reconnect with a sense of purpose. It encourages each of us to enter the new year with intention, positivity and commitment to building stronger communities.
RADA extends their heartfelt thanks to every sponsor and every RADA Angel whose ongoing dedication makes this work possible. Your belief in our vision fuels every project, every meal delivered and every life uplifted.
RADA wishes you a season filled with gratitude, connection and renewed hope. May the year ahead bring growth, unity and opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Be the Way … Be the Change …One Day at a Time.
